A NEWSPAPER CREATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR YOU!
We are confident that you will find the news section of our paper both stimulating and worthwhile, but to add variety to the mix we will also be carrying every week articles on the latest films, the best music and the coolest games, as well as a minimum of five pages of sport in every issue. Every issue will have a competition where you can win all sorts of cool gadgets, Music CDs and computer games. We will have an open forum where you can write in and express your woes, (or joys) about any aspect of life that tickles your fancy. We will also be inviting you to submit articles covering any item of current news or reviewing films, T.V., books, games and music. We would also be delighted to receive written accounts of significant matches, competitive events or debates that your school was involved in.
Do you think your English class have the skills to compile and edit a page for a national newspaper? Keep reading the Irish Student Express and you will have a chance to find out. Ultimately we hope that our newspaper will become a worthwhile addition to your education, telling you about important events that are taking place in the world today and helping to give you a context to use all the other material you learn in school to develop a fresh and informed perspective on the world you live in. The world is an exciting place, and we want to deliver a slice of it to you every week via our FREE newspaper. When we say the paper was created for you we mean it, so please email us and tell us what you think, what would you like to see covered in our newspaper? If you feel strongly about an issue tell us, and maybe you will be able to influence others. No matter what stage of your school life you are at, we have some worthwhile content for you, so keep reading and stay in touch.
