Principals & Management
We firmly believe that our product will be a worthwhile addition to the education process of your students. Every issue will carry quality coverage of selected domestic and world events. We will take care to publish clear maps and background material to help students to contextualise unfolding developments in national and international affairs and to draw parallels with their various school subjects from CSPE to history, geography, business etc. Our pages will provide a forum for your students. Every issue will carry some reader generated content. Through our pages schools will have a chance to raise their profile and showcase their good works and achievements. It is exciting for students to see their names and articles in print, our newspaper gives them that opportunity.
We want our paper to be an enjoyable as well as a worthwhile read. Each issue will cover a wide range of issues relevant to many aspects of modern culture, however we will be very sensitive in our editorial policy that none of our content would be in any way unsuitable for any students of secondary school going age.
Our paper is aimed primarily at second level students from third year up, but would be accessible for bright and stimulated pupils below that age. Every issue of our paper will include at least one article on some issue of human rights or dignity. Our hope is that students will be influenced positively by some of the content in our newspaper and will become involved in an appropriate way in efforts to spread justice and peace in our world.
