Rathoath College are delighted to announce the opening of an impressive new school pitch. Pattersons (Paul Patterson in photo) have been responsible for this pitch and have spent the past two years developing the new school grounds. The pitch has been paid for by a grant from the Department of Education and Skills and by fundraising by the Parent association and the students (Fairyhouse walk).
Thanks to John Hayes (Parent), Declan O’Toole (Caretaker) Frank Smith (Financial officer , Co. Meath VEC ) and Ciaran O’Hare (ex-teacher) for all their hard work and commitment to the project!
The pitch will be used by all sports….. In addition we have developed a lower pitch which will be suitable for training. We hope to have an official opening later in the year!
